Grandbear Group launches a targeted annual initiative for each Grandparents’ Day and run it for the following school year. We will be able to celebrate the completion of this initiative and recognize the Grandbear Group. Let’s embrace the spirit of giving and generosity that defines our community. Whether through financial support, spreading the word, or lending invaluable guidance, your contribution will be instrumental in our success.

This year’s wonderful initiative focuses on updating the playgrounds on campus to create a safer and more enjoyable space for the kids. The project cost is $81,000 and includes:
We will break this into two phases to help achieve our completion goals. Phase one’s goal of $56,000 will allow the removal of obstacles, pea gravel, and new EWF mulch. Phase two’s goal of an additional $25,000 will enable us to update the chainlink fence to a 4′ tall wrought iron fence with gates.

Mark your calendars for Grandparents’ Day on the morning of Friday, May 9, 2025! The beautiful BCS campus will be open to our grandparents for a morning of entertainment and fellowship. It will be a great time to see your Bear perform, visit their classroom, catch up with friends, and enjoy a morning celebrating the work of your grandchild.
Grandparents’ Day is a noon dismissal for our entire community so you and your family can spend some quality time together.
All grandparents planning to attend must RSVP by May 5, 2025 using the link below. Attendance is for grandparents only unless your Bear’s grandparents cannot attend and then a parent can register to attend in their place.
