1/25/2018 – Boys Varsity Soccer lost 2-0
BCS allowed 2 first half goals that proved to be to much to overcome. BCS had 18 shots but were not able to convert. BCS Goalkeeper Patrick Hanrahan had 11 Saves.
1/27/2018 – Boys Varsity Soccer won 12-0
4 first half goals. 8 2nd half Goals. BCS Shots: 57. Goals: Preston – 2 G/1A, Riley – 2 G/2A, Jonah – 2 Goals and Zach – 1 G/1A.
1/29/2018 – Boys Varsity Soccer won 16-0
8 first half goals. 8 second half goals. BCS Saves: 0 (THT = no shots). BCS Shots: 57. Goals/Assists: Zach – 4/0, Riley – 3/3, David R. – 2/2 Preston – 2/2, Jackson 1/3 & Justin – 1/1.
2/3/2018 – Boys Varsity Soccer won 4-0
BCS Shots: 21. BCS Corners: 10. BCS Saves: Patrick – 1. Goals: Zach – 3(Hat Trick), Preston – 1. Assists – Riley – 2, Jonah – 1.
Summary: 2 Goals in 1st 10 minutes of game – Preston (Riley Assist) & Zach (Riley Assist). 2-0 HT Lead. 10 minutes into 2nd half, Zach scored off keeper deflection to put us up 3-0. With 15 mins left in game, Zach scored (Jonah assist) off right post shot to seal the victory.
2/5/2018 – Boys Varsity Soccer won against San Juan Diego 2-0
BCS Shots: 30. Goals: Zach – 2. Assists: David R. – 1, Preston – 1.
Summary: With a scoreless tie with 10 minutes to go in the 1st half, Zach scored (David R. Assist) for 1-0 HT lead. With 15 minutes left in the game, BCS mounted a counter attack from midfield where Zach scored 2nd goal (Preston Assist) on a breakaway to seal the victory.
Basketball
2/2/2018 – Girls JV Basketball lost to Austin Royals 43-42
After dominating opponents all season, the BCS JV Girls lost their first and only game of the season. Lady Bears cooled off after a hot 1st quarter where they went up 20-10. Abi Walker had 21 points and Addie McDaniel had 14. The Lady Bears finished 8-1 on the year.
2/2/2018 – Girls Varsity Basketball won against Boerne Geneva 48-31
On senior night, BCS jumped out to a 17-4 lead after the first quarter. Senior Hannah Lewis and freshman Abi Walker each had 10 points. Going into the district tournament the Lady Bears are in 2nd place at 6-1 (26-10 overall).
