There is a $125 non-refundable application fee, payable by debit or credit card through the Online Application Portal. The system will allow you to submit the application when all required documents are uploaded and sections are marked with green checkmarks. For additional details on the admissions process, please see the admissions checklist below.

3. Take the Admissions Assessment

All applicants (except for EL3 students) will be required to complete an admissions assessment that will be arranged through the Admissions Office. The MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) Screener will be completed for reading and math and will be used to provide the principal with an overview of the student’s readiness.

4. Family Interview with Principal

Once the application and assessment are completed, the Admissions Office will arrange the family interview as part of the final step of the application process.. This meeting is a time for your family to meet with the principal to determine if BCS is a mutually good fit. All application requirements (except for the completed health forms and immunization records) need to be turned in prior to scheduling the interview as these will be considered in determining acceptance.

5. Complete Enrollment

Upon acceptance, the Finance Office will provide enrollment instructions. You will have five business days to complete the enrollment packet, sign the Enrollment Contract, and pay the Enrollment Fee to secure your child’s spot. Additional requirements, such as health forms and immunization records, must be completed before the school year begins.

Applications will become available for the upcoming school year around the beginning of October, which will be the best time to apply for potential availability within a grade. There is no deadline to apply to Brentwood. Instead, we offer rolling admissions, which allows you to apply throughout the year. In the event there is not an immediate opening for the grade needed, the student will be placed into a waiting pool. In this case, any spots that become available will be offered to a student who has completed the application process and has been given an acceptance. If a spot does not become available, our admissions team will reach out to you regarding rolling your application forward for the following school year in hopes a spot will be available then.

Our admissions team will be here to walk you through the admissions process! The admissions process is where we gather information regarding the applicant to determine if the student would be a good fit for our school. This process includes an online application, which includes transcripts, recommendations, and other information, an admissions assessment, and a family interview with the principal where he/she will make his/her acceptance decision either at the end of the interview or within two business days of the interview. Upon acceptance, we will then gather a copy of the immunization records, a completed Health Examination Form, and TAPPS medical documents for students entering 5th grade and above.

Factors that are considered in determining the acceptance of a student include grades on report cards, behavior records from the previous school, recommendations from the referral sources provided, assessment scores from the admissions testing, and student interaction during the family interview.

Yes, we are happy to offer need-based financial aid to our current and existing families.
