Football
On September 13th our varsity football team played against Poteet and won with a score of 31-12! Sam Orick 35 yard touchdown run Jonah Connor Kicked extra Point Sam Orick had a 38-yard touchdown run with Jonah Connor kicking the extra point. Conner Rohlack had a 50-yard touchdown run, Jonah Connor kicked 38-yard field goal, Zack Billante Blocked an extra point, Colby Best had two interceptions, and Riley Keesey covered an onside kick!
Cross Country
On September 14th our high school cross country team competed in the Cedar Park Invitational. The boys placed 13th out of 25 teams and the girls placed 10th out of 20 teams. Minho Yoon was our top runner, placing 30th out of 207 runners and Julia Glenn was the top female runner, placing 19th!

Volleyball
On September 5th our JV volleyball team played against Veritas. The Lady Bears lost this game but not without putting up a fight to the finish. The scores were 25-22 and 19-25. Abbie Burcham served 6 points in a row in set 1!
On September 5th our JV volleyball team played and won against Meridian with scores of 25-22, and 25-14. Hailey Stromberg scored 15 points, and Gracen Young scored 10 points.
On September 5th our varsity volleyball team played and won against Meridian with scores of 25-15, 25-20, and 25-14. Caroline Griffith had 19 kills and 11 digs, Alyssa Mancias had 8 kills, 12 digs, and 3 aces, Ava Alvarado had 7 kills, 26 assists, 11 digs, and 5 aces, Ashlynn Alvarado had 7 kills, 5 digs, and 2 blocks, Aurora Tyson had 16 digs, Brooklyn Allen had 3 kills, 5 digs, and 13 assists, and Jillian Hamilton had 4 kills and 2 blocks.
On September 10th our JV volleyball team played and won against San Juan Diego with scores of 25-13 and 25-16. Hailey Stromberg scored 12 points, and Abbie Burcham scored 8 points.

Caroline Griffith had 10 kills and 6 digs, Alyssa Mancias had 9 kills and 4 digs, Brooklyn Allen had 7 kills, 8 digs, and 13 assists, Ava Alvaradohad 5 kill,12 digs, and 23 assists, Aurora Tyson had 10 kills, and Ashlynn Alvarado had 5 kills and 7 digs.
On September 13th our JV volleyball team played Episcopal School of Dallas. The Lady Bears lost with scores of 8-25 and 18-25. Hailey Stromberg scored 8 points.
On September 13th our JV volleyball team played Emery and tied with scores of 18-25 and 25-21. Gracen Young scored 10 points and Savannah Napper scored 10 points.
On September 13th our JV volleyball team played and won against Kincaid with scores of 27-25 and 25-22. Madeline Griswold scored 13 points, Hailey Stromberg scored 10 points, Abbie Burcham scored 8 points, and Savannah Napper scored 10 points.
On September 13th our varsity volleyball team played against Cypress Christian. The Lady Bears won with scores of 25-20, 25-9, and 22-25. Alyssa Mancias had 15 kills and 10 digs, Caroline Griffith had 12 kills and 22 digs, Aurora Tyson had 26 digs, Ava Alvaradohad- 5 kills, 18 digs, and 10 assists, Brooklyn Allen had 7 kills, 16 digs, and 16 assists, and Ashlynn Alvaradohad 6 kills and 9 digs.
On September 14th our JV volleyball team played St. John’s Gold. The Lady Bear lost with scores of 13-25 and 15-25. Madeline Griswold scored 6 points and Abbie Burcham scored 7 points.
On September 14th our JV volleyball team played St. Pius JV1. The Lady Bear lost with scores of 22-25 and 22-25. Hailey Stromberg scored 14 points, Madeline Griswold scored 10 points and Gracen Young scored 8 points.
Elementary
Football
On September 12th our 5th grade flag football team played against Holy Family. The Bears lost with a score of 32-6 but coach Harper stated, “Our offense found the end zone for the first time. We are improving. We will focus on fundamentals and improve our flag pulling skills”.
On September 12th our 7th/8th tackle football team played and won against Manor New Tech with a score of 20-6. This is the first win of the season for the junior high Bears! Tabor Tyson had a 50-yard touchdown run and a 30-yard touchdown run, Amire Whitney had a 2-point conversion run, and Andrew Davis had a 30-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown.
Cross Country
On September 14th our 5th-8th grade cross country team competed at the Cedar Park Invitational. Middle school and elementary all ran together in the middle school division. The girls team scored a total of 117 points, The boys team scored a total of 308 points. The girls placed 4th and the boys placed 12th. Harper Counts placed 2nd out of 211 girls, Katie Pittner was 19th, Renne Cooper placed 13th out of 307 boys, and Colton McLain was 43rd.
Volleyball
On September 10th the 6th grade Lady Bears lost a two set match to the Knights of Holy Family with scores of 12-25 and 20-25. After dropping a quick first set the team pulled together a nice rally in the second but couldn’t recover from service and passing errors.
