Academics

All curriculum at BCS is written and taught from a consciously Christian perspective and meets or exceeds state and national standards. Early Learning and Elementary classes are self-contained except for daily music, physical education, and weekly Spanish, computer, and library instruction. Band, art, and choir begin in fifth grade, with additional electives being added in sixth through twelfth grade. High School students may choose the standard, advanced, or distinguished scholar curriculum.

All of our 2023 graduates were accepted to a college or university with over $2.2 million in annual scholarship awards. Most graduates select a Christian university, the University of Texas at Austin, or Texas A&M University.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has recognized 10 National Merit Scholars, one National Achievement Scholar, and 39 Commended Scholars.
