Career
BCS focuses on preparing students for college and we are committed to helping them set a path for current and future success. YouScience and SCOIR are valuable resources in career planning. YouScience and SCOIR are aptitude assessments that measure students’ aptitudes (what they do naturally well) and combine them with their interests (what they love to do), to give them personalized career and education recommendations. YouScience is utilized by our 6th – 8th graders, while SCOIR assessments occur in grades 9th – 12th.
These tools, as well as result reporting and interpretation, will be provided by BCS without an additional charge. There will be follow-up discussions regarding the interpretation of results. These results will aid each student in the choice process for determining the college that provides the major/career path best suited to their abilities and interests.
