BCS takes PSIA Middle School 3rd Place Trophy

Seventeen Brentwood Christian School students advanced to the state tournament in the Private Schools Interscholastic Association academic competition, and they came away with a third-place finish in the middle school division and a third-place finish overall competing with over 120 Texas AA schools.

BCS students scoring points in middle school are:
Andrew Armstrong - 1st in Math 8 (perfect score), 1st in Music Memory 8 (perfect score), 2nd in Number Sense 8
Rachel Beggs - 4th in Listening 6-8
Gabie Nguyen - 5th in Mathematics 7, 4th in Number Sense 7, 3rd in Vocabulary 7/8
Josh Sass - 5th in Calculator Applications 6-8, 4th in Mathematics 8
Natalie Williams - 1st in Poetry Interpretation 7/8

Special thanks to Don Gardner and his sons Daniel (BCS senior) and Matthew (BCS graduate), who were in charge of the tabulation room. Matthew and Daniel are both former PSIA medalists over their years in elementary and middle school.
