BCS Choir Advances to State at TAPPS Competition
All 55 Brentwood Christian School choir students competing in the TAPPS 3A region vocal contest on March 7 qualified to advance to the 2012 state meet, which will be held on Saturday, April 14, in Belton, Texas.
All BCS ensembles advanced to the state level, a total of seventeen choral pieces. Twenty-four soloists also advanced to compete at the State level. The region contest serves as a qualifying event for advancement to the state level. Last year, the BCS choir one first place in state, and seven ensembles and eleven soloists each received a 1st division rating.
